Iceland Field Trip 2016
We are planning to take a school party to Iceland in the Easter Holidays in 2016. The dates are estimated to be 28th March until the 1st April 2016, these dates will be confirmed once the flights are available. This will be an educational visit, which will form part of our enrichment programme. We regard it as an excellent opportunity for our students to experience life in a very different Physical Geography environment to the UK and hope that the challenges that the trip provides will spur them on to considerable achievements. The trip has been offered to all GCSE Geographers in Years 10 – 11 and A level Geographers who will be at LSA Sixth Form College during Easter 2016.
The approximate price of the trip is £888 (this could change slightly due to flights). This price includes return air fare, taxes, insurance, food during our time in Iceland, hotel accommodation, as well as travel by coach throughout the tour. Included in the price are all entrance fees, tickets and equipment required for all the various trips highlighted below. The tour is provided by NST tour operators, who are recommended by the Geographical Association.
