United Utilities Vlog Stars - deadline 20th October 2017
Here's an opportunity for creative students aged 13 to 17 to create a two minute video blog to appeal to young people and spread the word that wipes are bad news for loos to help reduce blockages and sewer flooding to homes, gardens, rivers and beaches.
The winner: £250 PC World vouchers for the student who then becomes a youth ambassador for United Utilities plus a £1,000 ICT donation for the school.
Runners up: £50 PC World vouchers and a £250 ICT donation for the school.
Promotion for the winner and runner up schools on our website, social media channels and local press.
National Poetry Day competition - The deadline to submit the poems is the last day of half term.
National Poetry Day is on Thursday 28th September and to celebrate we are asking our students to write their own poem about Freedom and they will be entered into LSA’s Poetry Competition.
Each class teacher will choose the best two poems from their class and the two winning entries will be passed on to Miss Jackson to be judged.
There will be a prize for the top 3 poems! And the winning poems will also go on display in Miss Jackson’s room.
