LSA High School provided every Year 11 student with the opportunity to take part in a mock interview with an external employer as part of its careers programme. Over 30 representatives from sectors including engineering, construction, NHS, finance, retail and more, volunteered their time to interview students and provide them with a real life experience of the process.
All employers have provided feedback for the students they interviewed and that feedback will soon be shared with students to help them develop and build on their existing skills. The careers event was organised to help students to build their confidence in an interview setting and to gain a greater understanding of the questions they may be asked and how it feels to be interviewed.
