Over Easter LSA took 38 students to Zell am See in the Austrian Alps for a fabulous week skiing.
Students of all abilities enjoyed a week learning to and improving their skiing in the mountains. Some students had the opportunity to ski on Glacier and have an afternoon break at the ice bar carved into the snow.
We had 3 gorgeous days on sunshine followed by 2 days of snowfall in a 'winter wonderland'.
Students also enjoyed a relaxing night at a local swimming pool and spa and an exciting evening at a local Ice Hockey match. We ate traditional Austrian food in our homely Austrian hotel with spectacular views over Zell am See lake and enjoyed a quiz, karaoke night and a competitive game of 9 pin Austrian Bowling.
Letters are available for next years Easter ski trip and be collected from Ms Pumphrey in Newton College office or from the PE department.
