''When you said you had somebody to fit the bill we had no idea how perfect he would be. This was the first time we had staged the Passion Play and obviously we were a little apprehensive beforehand as to the success of the production. However Brandon’s maturity, acting skills and overall charisma made the whole event more real than any of us could imagine. We had grown men and women crying at the crucifixion. I can’t attempt to put into words the feedback we have had, it has been overwhelming.''

The police estimated that between 350-400 people attended the event!

  • Singers included:- Lytham Community choir and Lytham Youth Choir, James Edgar, Andy Severyn, Jenny Love and Courtney Phelan.
  • Drama by AKS
  • Readings by St. Cuthbert’s and St.John's Youth worship group.

Alison Newsham Children and Youth worker for St.John’s and St.Cuthbert’s said “There was a fantastic response to the First Lytham Passion Play, which we had been hoping to put on for a couple of years. I think it portrayed the real meaning of Easter and why we celebrate it. It was very moving with many people in tears, really it was just how we imagined it to be, we wanted to bring the Passion up to date so we chose modern day music that were so relevant to each scene.”
