Overall 60% of students have achieved 5 or more passes at grades A*-C including English and Mathematics and results in both English and Mathematics have improved against a pattern of falling results nationally. I would also like to thank the teachers of these students for their hard work, effort and enthusiasm. Like students, teachers are having to cope with enormous changes to the examination system which, each year, make it harder to achieve the highest levels."
