Road Closure

As of Tuesday 10th October there will be a road closure from the junction of Albany Road to the junction of Ansdell Road North. The road closure is in operation 8am - 4pm.

 

Change to the diversion route for buses. Please see the new map below.

Stagecoach will be using the new diversion from Thursday allowing the 68 Bus to drop off and pick up at school as normal.

We expect further information from Blackpool Transport soon.

Due to the roadworks the only buses which will drop off and pick up at school are as follows:

Buses from Lytham to School (AM)

Students arriving before 8am can access the school buildings and those opting to wait for the later buses can remain in the Library.

 

Buses at other times will take the diverted route as follows:

To Lytham; Church Road, right onto St Thomas’s Road, left onto Clifton Drive south, left onto Ansdell Road South going round to Cambridge Road, (side of Skew Bridge,) which then re-joins Church Road, normal route resumed.
From Lytham; Church Road, left onto Cambridge Road, following round to Ansdell Road South, right onto Clifton Drive South, right into St Thomas’s Road, left onto Church Road, normal route resumed.

Parents are advised to help younger students plan a walking route between their most convenient bus stop and school if catching buses at the normal time.
