Last night, Lytham St Annes High School welcomed students, parents, and carers to our annual Careers Fair, an event designed to open doors to future opportunities and inspire the next generation of learners.

Over 25 Further and Higher Education providers, training organisations, and local employers joined us in the Sports Hall to share their expertise, advice, and insight into the world beyond school.

From universities and colleges to apprenticeship providers and local businesses, students were able to explore a diverse range of career pathways. Representatives from sectors including healthcare, childcare, engineering, law, business, and creative industries were on hand to answer questions and guide students towards exciting next steps.

There was a fantastic buzz throughout the evening as students engaged in conversations about their future ambitions and discovered new routes they may not have considered before.

Miss Gibbons, Careers Lead at LSA, said:

“It was brilliant to see so many of our students taking the time to explore their options and ask such thoughtful questions. Events like this really help them make informed decisions about their futures.”

We’d like to thank all the organisations who supported the event, including Preston College, Myerscough College, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, Victrex, Dudley Industries, Fylde Council, Lancaster University Management School, PGL, and many more, as well as our staff and student helpers who made the evening such a success.

At LSA, we’re committed to ensuring every student is future ready, equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and ambition to take their next step — wherever it leads.
