Lytham St Annes High School was proud to host this year’s Year 7 Wyre and Fylde Netball Tournament, welcoming 25 teams from 10 different schools across the region. The event was split into three divisions, providing plenty of competitive matches and giving every team the chance to shine.
The afternoon was filled with energy, teamwork, and great sportsmanship as players gave their all on the courts. Spectators were treated to some brilliant performances, with matches often decided by just a few goals — a real testament to the skill and determination of all involved.
Staff and organisers praised the students for their positive attitude and teamwork throughout the day. It was fantastic to see so many young people representing their schools and enjoying competitive sport in such a supportive environment.
A huge thank you goes to all participating schools, staff, and volunteers who helped make the tournament a success. Events like these highlight the importance of sport in bringing students together and celebrating effort, resilience, and fair play.
