Lytham St Annes High School is proud to announce that we have been named Secondary School of the Year at this year’s Fylde Community Sports Awards.
The award comes at a perfect moment for our school. Over recent months, LSA teams have delivered an outstanding run of results across football, hockey, netball, cricket and more. From tournament wins to regional finals and stand-out individual achievements, our students have shown ambition, resilience and teamwork in every fixture they’ve played. It feels only fitting that this commitment and success have been recognised at a borough-wide level.
The award celebrates schools that consistently champion sport, encourage participation and support young people to develop both their skills and character. At LSA, this is made possible by the hard work of our dedicated PE staff, coaches and volunteers, as well as the enthusiasm of our students who represent the school with pride week after week.
Headteacher and staff representatives attended the awards evening to receive the trophy, with judges praising the depth and breadth of sporting opportunities at LSA.
This is an achievement for our whole school community and a moment that reflects the passion, effort and belief shown by so many people.
A huge well done to every student who trains, competes, supports others and contributes to the brilliant sporting culture we have at LSA. We look forward to building on this success throughout the year.
