Lytham St Annes High School is looking brighter than ever as daffodils planted by students earlier this term have now come into full bloom across the school grounds.
As part of a hands-on environmental initiative, students from Athena House worked together to plant bulbs in key areas around the site, with generous support and donations from Lytham in Bloom. The activity gave students the opportunity to contribute positively to their surroundings while learning the value of teamwork and community involvement.
Now, with the arrival of warmer weather and clear skies, those efforts are being rewarded. The daffodils have blossomed beautifully, adding a vibrant splash of colour and creating a welcoming, uplifting environment for students, staff, and visitors alike.
It has been fantastic to see the transformation and to reflect on the role students have played in enhancing the school grounds. Their willingness to get involved and take pride in their environment is a great example of the LSA spirit in action.
The school would like to extend its thanks to Lytham in Bloom for their continued support and guidance, and to Athena House for representing themselves and the school so positively.
This project is a wonderful reminder that small actions can have a lasting impact, and that when students work together, they can make a real difference to their community.
