Image of Science Department Hosts Exciting Escape Room Challenge

Students at Lytham St Annes High School recently took part in an engaging and interactive escape room experience, organised by the Science Department.

The event challenged students to apply their scientific knowledge and problem-solving skills in a fun and fast-paced environment. Working in teams, participants had to solve a series of clues, puzzles and experiments in order to “escape” before time ran out. The activity encouraged collaboration, critical thinking and resilience, all key skills both inside and outside the classroom.

The escape room was designed around a range of scientific concepts, giving students the opportunity to reinforce their learning in a creative and memorable way. From decoding clues to carrying out mini investigations, each challenge required careful thought and teamwork.

Staff were impressed with the enthusiasm and determination shown throughout the event, with many teams coming close to completing all the challenges in the allotted time.

A big well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to the Science Department for organising such an innovative and enjoyable experience.
