Students Take Part in EU Debate Experience

Students recently took part in an engaging and thought-provoking EU debating event hosted by the MFL department.

During the session, students broke off into different political parties represented within the European Parliament, taking on the role of party members to debate key topics and current issues. The activity encouraged students to develop their communication, teamwork and public speaking skills while gaining a deeper understanding of European politics and how debates take place within the EU Parliament.

It was fantastic to see students fully immerse themselves in their roles, confidently sharing ideas and respectfully debating with one another throughout the event.

A big thank you to the MFL department for organising such an interactive and educational experience, and well done to all students involved for their enthusiasm and excellent participation.
