Former Lytham St Annes High School student Greg Anderton has achieved remarkable success at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026, winning a Gold Medal for his company, Leafy Lytham, with their stunning exhibit showcasing coastal perennials. The award was presented as part of the world-famous flower show, regarded as one of the most prestigious horticultural events in the world.

Greg's journey into horticulture began at a young age and has since grown into an award-winning career. Through Leafy Lytham, he has designed dozens of gardens, helped restore the historic walled garden at Lytham Hall, and built a thriving gardening community across the Fylde Coast. His passion, creativity and dedication have earned him national recognition within the industry.

Winning a Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show represents one of the highest achievements in horticulture and is a testament to the exceptional quality of Greg's work. His exhibit was recognised among the show's top floral displays, placing Leafy Lytham alongside some of the UK's leading growers and designers.

Everyone at Lytham St Annes High School is incredibly proud of Greg's achievement. It is always inspiring to see former students pursuing their passions and achieving success at the highest level.

We would like to congratulate Greg and everyone at Leafy Lytham on this fantastic accomplishment and wish them continued success in the future.
