The first ever Great British Bake off was held in school on Monday 15th July '13. 17 pupils stepped up to the challenge and produced the most spectacular cake they could in an hour and a half. The cakes made, ranged from a gorgeous Pineapple Upside Down cake to decedent gooey chocolate cakes.
The cakes were judged in secret, with 50 marks being awarded for presentation and 50 marks for flavour. The cakes were all fantastic and there were only 8 marks between first and second place.
The overall winner of the bake off was Robyn Pain who made a delicious Mocha Bar cake.
2nd place Wade Agar
3rd place Abbie Horberry.
