Year 9 Student Jasmine Heaps and her sister Hannah Heaps began fencing when they lived in Portugal at a local fencing club. After moving back to England, Jasmine continued her training at various locations including clubs in Clitheroe and Manchester. Showing a real talent, Jasmine competed at last year’s Nationals where she placed 4th in her division.
This year, in April, she is attending the National Qualifiers in hopes of once again having the opportunity to compete at Nationals.
