Four art students from the sixth form were selected to exhibit work in the prestigious Drawn from Youth: 5 Exhibition held at the Fylde Gallery, Booths in Lytham. The private view was held on Wednesday evening and was very well attended. 

The exhibition is organised by the Royal Society of British Artists and NADFAS.

The selected artists are Emmas Blackburn with painting 'Friends', and tryptich 'Maddie'.

Jessica Sampson with pencil drawing 'Portrait' and coloured pencil drawing 'Portrait'. Sasha Lord coloured pencil  'Portrait'. Emma Wylie painting 'Hannah'.

The work is of a very high standard and the artists should be very proud to have been selected for this prestigious exhibition.

Emma Blackburn said,"It was strange to see my paintings in the gallery - it was an exciting experience."
Jessica Sampson said,"I felt surprised to see my work along-side such amazing exhibits. It made me very happy and proud."
