Image of Mrs Dearden Teaches Her Final Lesson After 33 Years at LSA

Today marked the end of an incredible chapter in the history of Lytham St Annes High School, as Mrs Dearden taught her final lesson before retiring this summer after 33 years of dedicated service.

Surrounded by the final class she will ever teach at LSA, it was a fitting moment to celebrate a career that has had a lasting impact on generations of young people. Over more than three decades, Mrs Dearden has been a constant presence in the school, inspiring, supporting and educating thousands of students.

After looking back through the numbers, we estimate that Mrs Dearden has taught more than 12,000 LSA students during her career. It is a remarkable achievement and a reflection of the extraordinary contribution she has made to our school community.

Throughout her time at LSA, Mrs Dearden has been known for her dedication, professionalism and unwavering commitment to helping every student achieve their very best. Her influence has extended far beyond the classroom, with countless former students carrying happy memories of her lessons long after leaving school.

As Mrs Dearden begins a well deserved retirement, everyone at Lytham St Annes High School would like to thank her for 33 years of outstanding service. Her contribution to the lives of so many young people, colleagues and families has been immeasurable, and she leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.
