Seventy-seven of our Year 11 students recently took part in professional interviews with representatives from Preston College, hosted here in school.
The interviews form an important part of the post-16 transition process, giving students valuable experience of speaking with college staff about their chosen courses, career ambitions and next steps. For many, this was their first formal interview experience, and they approached the opportunity with confidence and maturity.
College representatives were highly complimentary about the standard of our students, praising their preparation, attitude and professionalism throughout the day. It was fantastic to see students articulating their strengths, interests and future goals so clearly.
These interviews not only support successful college applications but also help students build essential life skills such as communication, resilience and self-reflection.
A huge well done to all 77 students who took part and represented the school so positively. We look forward to supporting them as they take their next exciting steps beyond Year 11.
